Sydney Petersen, daughter of UNI Volleyball coach Bobbi Petersen, is transferring to play for the Panthers.
She made the announcement via social media.
Petersen was starting libero at the University of Texas the last four years.
She’s finished her four years of eligibility and is able to play next season for the Panthers due to an extra year of eligibility from the COVID-19 pandemic.
She’ll not only be reunited with her mother, but also her twin sister Baylee.
Sidney and Baylee played integral roles in three state championship teams at Dike-New Hartford.
