It was the right time for Owen Baker and Gavin O’Connell to score their first USHL goals and Jack Williams was perfect in net as the Black Hawks visited Sioux Falls for the first time this season. Waterloo brought back a 3-0 win.
The Hawks meet the Tri-City Storm in Kearney, Nebraska, next Friday and Saturday.
