The high school fall sports season begins in the metro today.
In boys golf,
Cedar Falls and Waterloo West compete at the Mississippi Valley Conference Super Meet at Bunker Hills in Dubuque. Action is scheduled to tee off this morning at 9:30.
And Waterloo East hosts a triangular with Marshalltown and Des Moines Roosevelt at Gates Park. The meet starts this afternoon at 3:30.
In girls tennis,
Columbus Catholic is hosting a NICL quadrangular at Byrnes Park with Union, South Hardin and Oelwein.
The meet gets underway this morning at 9.
