Bryana Phillips named Waterloo West High School girls basketball head coach

For the first time in nearly 50 years the Waterloo West varsity girls basketball team will have a new head coach this season.

Bryana Phillips has been hired to replace longtime head coach Dr. Anthony Pappas, who retired after 47 years leading the Wahawks.

Phillips has been an assistant coach for the Wahawks the past three seasons and works as a paraeducator at Cunningham Elementary School in Waterloo.
