2026 All-District softball teams have been released and several area players were among those recognized.
In Class 5A,
Cedar Falls Lexi Trueg and Waterloo West’s Frannie Dehl and Addy Schoepske were named to the East District First Team.
In Class 4A,
Waverly-Shell Rock’s Harper Morrison was named to the Northeast District First Team.
In Class 2A,
Denver’s Jenna Collins and Brilee Ackerson,
Grundy Center’s Maddy Hendershot,
Hudson’s Jordy Rhoads,
Jesup’s Sara Mead and Hayden Kresser,
Sumner-Fredericksburg’s Jamie Jones and Aubrie Land,
and Wapsie Valley’s Taylor Buhr, Espyn Decker and Maddie Ladeburg were named to the Northeast All-District First Team.
In Class 1A,
Clarksville’s Catelynn Lodge, Sydney Lovrien, and Hannah Wagness,
Dunkerton’s Kylee Pexa,
and Don Bosco’s Mya Ortner and Addy Steenblock were named to the North Central District First Team.
