Several Area Athletes Named to All-District Baseball Teams

The Iowa High School Baseball Coaches Association has released its 2026 All-District Teams.

Each class features five All-District teams recognizing the top players from across the state, and several area players made the Northeast team. 

In Class 4A,

Cedar Falls’ first baseman Brayden Hanks was named to the first team.

On the Second Team are pitchers Cedar Falls’ Ben Nichols and Caleb Peters from Waterloo East, Cedar Falls third baseman Sam Phillips, and Waterloo West outfielder Caleb Dickey-Steimel.

In Class 3A,

Waverly-Shell Rock pitcher Jack Wedemeier and outfielder Gehrig Tibbits were named to the First Team.

Three Go-Hawks were named to the Second Team; catcher Jack Elsamiller, outfielder Braden Severson, and utility player Cash Ryan. 

In Class 2A,

First Team honorees include; Denver pitcher Lincoln Roethler, Columbus Catholic outfielder Bryce Noland, Dike-New Hartford outfielder Gavin Gerbracht, and Aplington-Parkersburg’s Sully Jansen as a utility player.

A-P outfielder Wes Shirk was named to the Second Team.

In Class 1A,

First Team honorees include; Janesville pitcher Trevor Santee, and Don Bosco outfielder Aiden Hellman and utility player Kyler Sallis.

Second Team honorees include; Dunkerton pitcher Aiden Hesse, and Don Bosco’s pitcher Aiden Nielsen and utility player Brayden Brasch.
