Six area high school football players set to play in 54th annual Shrine Bowl

The state’s best senior high school football players will be on display Saturday at the 54th annual Shrine Bowl at the UNI-Dome.

Area players on the North Team include;

Cedar Falls’ Josh Grete,

Don Bosco’s Kaiser Bovy,

Judd Jirovsky of Grundy Center,

Matthew Langner of Waverly-Shell Rock,

Gavin Trask of Sumner-Fredericksburg,

and Gladbrook-Reinbeck’s Hudson Clark.

Funds raised from the game benefit Shriners’ Children and its mission to provide the best pediatric care anywhere, regardless of the families’ ability to pay. 

Kickoff is scheduled for 4:00.
