7.7.26 – Area Class 2A & 1A District Quarterfinal Baseball Scores

Class 2A and 1A postseason high school baseball continued last night with District Quarterfinals.

In 2A games involving area schools; 

Columbus Catholic rallied to beat Dike-New Hartford, 7-6,

Grundy Center beat Aplington-Parkersburg, 6-1, 

Denver took down New Hampton, 7-4,

And Anamosa snuck past Union, 4-3.

In 1A games involving area schools;

Don Bosco outscored East Marshall, 9-8,

Wapsie Valley shutout North Tama, 10-0,

And Janesville outlasted Iowa Valley, 9-8.
