Girls State Soccer Semifinals Postponed Due to Inclement Weather

Due to forecasted inclement weather, the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union postponed Thursday’s State Soccer Semifinal matches for all three classes until Friday.

Three area schools will be among those competing tomorrow in Class 1A Semifinals.

Top-seed Denver will take on 4-seed St. Albert at 10 a.m. The Cyclones bring an 18-0-3 record, while the Saints are 18-2.

And 3-seed Hudson plays 7-seed Aplington-Parkersburg tomorrow morning at 10:15. The Pirates own a 18-2 record, while the Falcons are 16-2-2.
