Nine area players named to IBCA’s boys & girls All-Star Series teams

Nine area players have been named to the Iowa Basketball Coaches Association’s boys and girls All-Star Series teams.

The format for the All-Star Series divides the state into four regions with each region consisting of 12 players, making up four girls teams and four boys teams.

Area players on the Northeast Boys Team include;

Cedar Falls’ Will Gerdes and Jayden Kimbrough

Wapsie Valley’s Briggs Boehme

Grundy Center’s Judd Jirovsky

and Benny Walker of Aplington-Parkersburg.

Area players on the Northeast Girls team include;

Cedar Falls’ Karis Finley,

Nakia Ollivierre of Waterloo West,

Gladbrook-Reinbeck’s Kennedy Brandt

and Brittany Bodensteiner of Waverly-Shell Rock. 

Games will be held March 28th at Dallas Center-Grimes High School.
