Trio of area boys basketball teams compete in Class 2A Substate Finals Saturday

A trio of area boys basketball teams look to punch their ticket to the State Tournament Saturday in Class 2A Substate Finals.

Two area teams will play in a doubleheader at McLeod Center in Cedar Falls…

At 6:30, Grundy Center (22-1) battles Beckman Catholic (14-10).

At 8:00, Aplington-Parkersburg (21-3) takes on Cascade (16-7).

And at Marshalltown, Union (23-2) faces Pella Christian (14-10) at Marshalltown at 7.
