Qualifying for ‘Fan Football Frenzy’ with on-air keyword

• Weekdays between Tuesday, October 28th and Friday, November 28th listeners can secure their spot at this year’s event by listening to The Fan for a keyword to enter in the form below.
• Keywords will be given out live on-air by Mark Simpson between 6-8 a.m. on ‘Maximum Mornings’ and between 5-6 p.m. by Cole Bair on ‘Cole & Company’.
• Keywords can also be heard with special sounders that will play during ‘The Dan Patrick Show’, ‘The Jim Rome Show’ and ‘The Rich Eisen Show’.
• Once you hear the daily keyword simply enter it into the form below and wait for an email to confirm your spot at ‘Fan Football Frenzy’

2025 ‘Fan Football Frenzy’ contest information & rules

• KCNZ will conduct the contest on Monday, December 8, 2025, at Screaming Eagle American Bar and Grill in Waterloo and reserves the right to end the contest at any time without additional notice.
• Employees of KCNZ and their immediate families are not eligible. The term “immediate families” includes spouses and children.
• Each Fan Frenzy qualifier (registered before 6:45 p.m. deadline on 12/9) receives 4 tickets with their name on it.
  • 1 of the 4 tickets MUST be put in the box for/labeled Door Prizes.
  • The qualifier’s three remaining tickets MUST be put inside boxes of choice (labeled 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 or 9), with each of the three tickets going into a different box. 
    • Placing more than one ticket in the same numbered box is not allowed and could result in disqualification.
• At the end of each quarter (1-4) of the Monday Night Football game the total score will be added up and the last number of that total score is the box that a name will be drawn from.
  • Example: End of 1st quarter score is Bengals 14 Cowboys 7, a total of 21 points, therefore a name will be drawn from the ‘1’ box.
• If a single contestant wins more than one quarter prize, the winner will immediately choose which prize to keep. The other prize will then be given away by another drawing from the box previously used for that prize’s quarter score.
• There is no purchase necessary to enter the contest. Must be present to win. Void where prohibited.
• As a winner you acknowledge that KCNZ has the right to, without further authorization, publicize your name, character likeness, photograph, voice and the fact you have won a prize for promotional purposes without financial remuneration.
• Prizes become the property of the winners. KCNZ takes no control or responsibility of the use of the prize after it is awarded. Failure to collect prize(s) constitutes forfeiture of the prize. If forfeited, the prize will remain the property of KCNZ.
• All winners of all contests are responsible for all taxes on prize(s) awarded. All winners of a prize valued at $600 or more are required to complete the appropriate tax forms provided by KCNZ. All winners will be sent a 1099 MISC federal tax form if, in one calendar year, the value of prizes won exceeds $600.
• Winner(s) will not hold KCNZ, Cedar Valley Broadcasting, Inc. or Coloff Media responsible for any taxes, injuries, or expenses incurred while utilizing/claiming prize(s).
• KCNZ reserves the right to make a rule change or contest change without notice at any time.
• If the winner is found in violation of the rules, he/she/they may be required to forfeit their prize.
• The decision of KCNZ in the interpretation of rules is final. By participating, persons agree to be bound by the decisions of the judges and official rules.
