Former Panther Green Inks 4-Year Extension With NBA’s Bucks

Former Cedar Falls and UNI men’s basketball standout AJ Green agreed to a contract extension Thursday with the Milwaukee Bucks.

Green — who is entering his 4th season in the NBA — agreed to a 4-year, $45 million dollar contract with the Bucks Thursday.

Green averaged a number of career-highs last season — including minutes per game (22.7), field goal & 3-point percentage (43%), rebounds (2.4), assists (1.5) and points per game (7.4).

Milwaukee opens its 2025-2026 regular season next Wednesday, October 22nd at home against the Washington Wizards.
