Waterloo West & Cedar Falls boys golf teams compete at MVC Valley Divisional

The final round of the Mississippi Valley Conference Valley Divisional boys golf meet took place yesterday at Gardner Golf Course in Marion. 

Dubuque Wahlert won the 8-team meet with a 297. Cedar Rapids Prairie was second with a 298, Cedar Falls placed 3rd with a 300 and Waterloo West was 4th with a 304.

Overall, Cedar Rapids Prairie won with a three-round score of 861. Cedar Falls finished 3rd and Waterloo West was 5th.

Individually, Cedar Falls’ Drew Larimer was medalist with a 71.

Larimer won the Valley Divisional Meet individual competition with a three round score of 201. Waterloo West’s Jackson Stanford tied for third-place with a 211.
