Former Waterloo Black Hawk Joe Pavelski named 2025 U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame inductee

Former Waterloo Black Hawks standout Joe Pavelski has been named a member of this year’s class of 2025 U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame inductees.

Pavelski spent two seasons with the Black Hawks, leading Waterloo to the 2004 Clark Cup while being named Junior Hockey Player of the Year.

Known as one of the most consistent and clutch American players in NHL history, Pavelski played in 1,332 NHL regular season games with the San Jose Sharks and Dallas Stars over 18 seasons.

He closed his NHL career with 476 goals, 592-assists and 1,068 points.
