After the first period on Friday, the Black Hawks silenced Des Moines’ offense. Then Waterloo came alive late in the second. Brady Peddle assisted on one goal, then scored another, flipping the Hawks to the lead and on to the win.
The Hawks finish the weekend on the road against the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders.
