Brendan McMorrow scored twice, but the Black Hawks could not stop a second period surge by the National Team Development Program. The resulting 5-2 loss leaves Waterloo at .500 following the first weekend of the United States Hockey League season.
The Hawks play one more September game next weekend, hosting the Des Moines Buccaneers at 6:05 p.m. on Saturday.
