Cedar Falls native, former Iowa Hawkeyes standout Ike Boettger signs with Detroit Lions
The Detroit Lions added offensive line depth today with the signing of Cedar Falls native and former Iowa Hawkeyes standout Ike Boettger.
The 29-year old Boettger has played in six NFL seasons. He played his first five seasons with the Buffalo Bills before spending last season with Indianapolis.
Boettger has largely played guard throughout his career and started 17 games during his time with the Bills.
He will be a teammate with another Cedar Falls native and former Hawkeye as a Lion — linebacker Jack Campbell.
