Waterloo Man Found in Cemetery Identified

A Waterloo man found dead in a city cemetery earlier this month has been identified.  31-year old Moses Batemon was found by a maintenance worker under an evergreen tree at Elmwood Cemetery on the afternoon of May 9th. He died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the chest, according to an autopsy conducted by the Iowa State Medical Examiner’s office in Ankeny.
