Yesterday in high school girls golf, the first round of the Metro Meet took place at Irv Warren in Waterloo.
Cedar Falls finished first-place, shooting a 354. Waterloo West was second-place with a 398. Waterloo Columbus was third with a 435 and Waterloo East did not participate.
Individually, Cedar Falls’ Molly Ratchford was medalist, shooting 78.
The second round of the Metro girls golf meet takes place next Wednesday at Gates Park.
