Jesup high school girls basketball standout Laney Pilcher signed a National Letter of Intent today to play basketball for Iowa Central Community College.
Pilcher joins the Tritons after a decorated career at Jesup that included a conference MVP, 1st team all-region, 1st team all-district, 2nd team All-State, 1st
team all-conference, 1st team all-district, 1st team all-region and 2nd team all-conference honors. She recorded 1,000 career points, is the J-Hawks single-season point holder (most points in a season), scored the second most points in a career at Jesup and is second all-time in steals in school history.
