A former Waterloo West high school standout is joining the Iowa football team.
Tanner Pollock, who played last year at Drake, is transferring to Iowa as a preferred walk-on.
In his first year as a starter, the 6-foot-one-inch, 210-pound Pollock led the Bulldogs with 100 tackles. He also had five tackles for loss and two interceptions.
Pollock has two years of eligibility remaining.
