Waterloo Fire Rescue crews responded to a reported vehicle fire around 7:00AM Saturday morning. The vehicle was in a parking garage at 5th and Commercial Street. Flames and smoke could be seen coming from the second floor of the parking garage. Crews were able to put out the fire, and pull a person from the burning mini-van. That person has been taken to an area hospital. The cause of the fire is unknown and an investigation is ongoing.
