The Waterloo Black Hawks protected home ice again, defeating the Sioux City Musketeers 5-1 at Young Arena. The Hawks have come out on top in five consecutive home games and seven-in-a-row against Western Conference foes, regardless of location.
Waterloo’s new month begins on the road Thursday against the Dubuque Fighting Saints at 7:05 p.m.
