The Iowa Wrestling Coaches and Officials Association has released its Dual Team Rankings. The top-24 ranked teams in each class will compete in eight Regional Duals with the highest-ranked teams hosting next week.
Area schools in the rankings include;
In 1A, Don Bosco is top-ranked, Nashua-Plainfield is 4th, Wapsie Valley is 5th, Waterloo Columbus is 19th and Jesup is 22nd.
In 2A, Independence is 13th and Dike-New Hartford is 24th.
And in 3A, Waverly-Shell Rock is ranked 2nd.
Regional duals for all three classes take place Tuesday, January 31st. The top-eight teams in each class qualify for the State Dual Team Tournament, set for Saturday, February 4th at Xtream Arena in Coralville.
