Cedar Falls Council Passes Fireworks Change

On Monday night, The Cedar Falls City Council approved the third and final reading on an ordinance to allow for consumer fireworks to be used between 9AM and 11PM on July 4th. Any additional days would have to be designated by council before March 1st of a given year. The measure passed 6-1 with councilperson Kelly Dunn casting the lone no vote. The reading passed without discussion.
