Yesterday in metro boys and girls high school cross country at the Jim Boughton Invitational in Dubuque;
Cedar Falls captured the boys race with 37 points. Dubuque Hempstead was 2nd with 56.
The Tigers had five runners place in the Top-10 with Jaden Merrick finishing a team-best third-place.
Waterloo West and Waterloo East also competed. The Wahawks were 7th and the Trojans finished 10th.
Hempstead won the Girls portion with 22 points. Cedar Falls placed 5th.
