Waterloo West high school basketball standout Sahara Williams will compete for the United States at the women’s U18 3×3 FIBA World Cup in Hungary tomorrow. Team USA will take on Egypt and Mongolia in pool play.
Williams qualified for the four person USA team last month and tomorrow’s games will mark her debut for the United States team.
Last year as a junior for the Wahawks she averaged 19.7 points, 6.7 rebounds and 4 assists per game.
