Three UNI football players have earned spots on Phil Steele’s FCS Preseason All-American team.
Place kicker Matthew Cook was named to the first team, while linebacker Spencer Cuvelier was selected to the third team and defensive back Benny Sapp earned fourth team honors.
Cook, a junior from Cedar Falls, has now been named to four preseason All-American special teams in addition to four Missouri Valley Football Conference preseason teams.
