Two Hurt in Waterloo Crash Tuesday

Two people had non-life-threatening injuries in a two-vehicle crash in Waterloo Tuesday morning. Waterloo Police say, at around 6:30AM, one vehicle was eastbound on Walnut Street and was approaching the intersection of East 6th. While that vehicle had the greenlight and was crossing the intersection, it was struck by another vehicle traveling north on East 6th. One of the drivers was taken to UnityPoint – Allen Hospital by Waterloo Fire Rescue ambulance and the passenger of the other vehicle was taken to a local hospital in a private vehicle. No other information was being made available.
