The UNI men’s basketball team has added a player with a familiar name.
Hunter Jacobson, son of head coach Ben Jacobson, has joined the Panthers as a walk-on.
Hunter, a 6’1″ freshman guard, was a three-sport athlete at Cedar Falls High School. He was a two-year starter at quarterback for the Tigers and a decorated track & field athlete despite missing his senior year in basketball and track & field due to an injury suffered during the football season.
