The Iowa High School Soccer Coaches Association has released its 2022 All-State girls soccer teams and several area players were recognized.
In Class 2A, Waverly-Shell Rock midfielder Macy Smith was named to the first team and goalie Katelyn Eggena was named honorable mention.
In 1A, first team honorees included defenders Greta Reganweather of Hudson and Katie Clark of Grundy Center. Named to the first team as midfielders were Nikayla Youngblut of Waterloo Columbus, Savannah Schneider of Hudson and Lexi Gerke of Denver.
Honorable mention included forwards Adrianna Gallen of Waterloo Columbus and Camille Landphair of Dike-New Hartford, Waterloo Columbus goalie Becca Dufour and defender Brooklyn Yoder of Grundy Center.
