The UNI Football team is getting preseason recognition in the HERO Sports FCS preseason Top-25.
The Panthers debut at No. 24 in the rankings.
UNI is coming off a 6-6 season and a berth into the FCS Playoffs.
The Missouri Valley Football Conference is well represented as North Dakota State is No. 1, South Dakota State is No. 2, Missouri State is 6th, Southern Illinois 12th and South Dakota 21st.
UNI opens its season September 3rd at Air Force.
