The Cedar Falls Girls Tennis team is going to State.
The Tigers hosted a Class 2A Regional team match today at the UNI Tennis Courts and defeated Marshalltown 5-0 in the semifinals while Cedar Rapids Prairie downed Waterloo West, 5-1.
In the finals, Cedar Falls took care of Cedar Rapids Prairie, 5-1.
The State Tournament begins Saturday in Iowa City and Cedar Falls will be the 3-seed and play 7-seed Clinton in the quarterfinals.
Action will take place at the Hawkeye Tennis Courts.
