Yesterday in metro girls golf;
The Mississippi Valley Conference Divisional meets took place. In the Mississippi Divisional Meet held at Pleasant Valley Golf Course in Iowa City; Western Dubuque won the meet with a 361. Cedar Falls finished 2nd with a 372.
In the Valley Divisional Meet held at the Dubuque Golf and Country Club, Dubuque Hempstead took first with a 363. Waterloo West placed 3rd with a 400.
Grundy Center won the North Iowa Cedar League Tournament held at Irv Warren in Waterloo. The Spartans shot a 381 as a team. Sumner-Fredericksburg was 2nd, 12 strokes back with a 393. Waterloo Columbus finished 3rd with a 417.
Sumner-Fredericksburg’s Chloe Bolte was medalist with a 78.

Cedar Falls shutout Cedar Rapids Washington, 4-0.
In metro girls soccer;
Cedar Falls rolled past Cedar Rapids Washington, 8-0.
