Waterloo East opened their season with a dominating 64-23 win at Marshalltown.
The Trojans built a 35-17 lead at halftime and allowed only 6-points in the second half.
Tonight in High School Basketball involving a pair of Metro teams:
The Waterloo East Boys team will open their season as they play at Waverly-Shell Rock.
And in girls games Waterloo East hosts Cedar Rapids Xavier in Mississippi Valley Conference play and Columbus visits Wapsie Valley.
