Following the State High School Football Playoff quarterfinal games from last Friday, here are the pairings for the area schools involved in semifinal action this week at the UNI-Dome.
Today in Class A, at 1:00, Grundy Center plays Woodbury Central. The Spartans are in the Class A semifinals for the third consecutive year.
In Class 4A, this afternoon at 4, Waverly-Shell Rock takes on Lewis Central. This is the first trip to the UNI-Dome for the Go-Hawks since 2007.
Tomorrow afternoon at 1:00 in a Class 1A semifinal, Dike-New Hartford will go against West Sioux. The Wolverines are returning to the Dome for the first time since 2018.
The semifinals in all seven classes will take place Wednesday through Saturday.
