Former Waterloo-Cedar Falls Courier sports editor Doug Newhoff joined The Fan Friday to discuss a new book he co-authored with Courier sports writer Craig Sesker entitled, ‘Home Sweet Dome’. The book chronicles ‘Iowa High School football during the playoff era’ at the UNI-Dome in Cedar Falls that began in 1976.
Doug and Craig are holding a kickoff event for the book’s release at Pepper’s Grill & Sports Pub, Saturday, August 7 from 1-4 p.m.
